Academics - 800-610-8810

When students arrive at Meadowlark Academy they may not have been doing very well in school or showing the potential they have academically. Each student is evaluated in regards to their own potential and assigned classes based upon their grade level, and achievement.

Students at Meadowlark Academy are challenged to see their potential and are held to a standard of work, 80% or higher to show proficiency in that area.

School credits are granted at Meadowlark Academy. Academic credits are easily transferred to your local high school when your daughter has graduated the program. Course work is completed primarily on line, with available assistance from qualified teachers. Students are expected to work through a complete school day and show improvement.

Students attend year round school to help them gain credits lost or to enhance their learning. In many academic settings, students struggle and there individual needs are lost. When this happens they get discouraged and give up. We help our students work at their own pace and feel great academic success.

Meadowlark's academic structure is provided by Smoky Hill Education Service. Smoky Hill Education Service Center's mission statement is: To provide quality leadership, services, and support in response to identified and anticipated needs of participating districts.

Meadowlark is also accredited through Waconda School District 272.
